This can be an overnight trip or just a day trip!
Where? National Forest land (dispersed camping) near Jefferson, CO
~1.5 hours or 75 miles from Denver

MT Falcon Hike & Ruck
Join us on a FREE community hike and ruck with a 2,000-foot elevation gain of the Castle Trail, a steep climb from the east, provides a vigorous workout. Historic sites at the park include the ruins of John Brisben Walker’s castle, and the cornerstone of a would-be summer White House for U.S. Presidents. There is also a wooden tower, situated along Tower Trail, which visitors can climb to survey wonders of the landscape that never cease to amaze.
Bring your friends and family and throw some extra weight in your backpack for a tougher workout!

Backcountry Bowhunter 6 Week Training Camp
Are you ready to take your bowhunting skills to the next level and fill your tags this year? Have you been at full draw and had that opportunity of a lifetime slip through your fingertips? Look no further than our 6-week bowhunter training camp brought to you by Rocky Mountain Strength!
This training camp will be hosted outside at the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area archery range in Highlands Ranch, CO. Featuring 20-80 yard shots during training.
Our program progresses week to week building confidence through elevated heart rate shooting in real-life hunting scenarios, and preparing you for any situation in the field. But its not just about honing your hunting skills - our program also includes physical fitness training to ensure you’re mountain-ready and able to tackle any terrain. Don't miss out on this opportunity to become the best bowhunter you can be and join that top ten percent each year notching tags. Join us for our 6-week bowhunter training camp today!

The 2024 training season is right around the corner at Rocky Mountain Strength. We are excited to bring you our 5th year of our Backcountry Hunter: Strength & Conditioning programs. This is going to be our best year yet, with a full 8 month training program laid out both at the gym and utilizing our home range: the Backcountry Wilderness Area. As well, we will be in our BRAND NEW 5,700 sq. ft, state of the art facility in March 2024.
So what does this 8 month program look like? We will have our first 4 workouts (January 13th, February 10th, March 9th, April 6) at Rocky Mountain Strength, with 80% strength & conditioning & 20% shooting program split. May & June will be 2 fully immersive outdoor workouts with a 50/50 split of S&C and shooting skills at the Backcountry Wilderness Area in Highlands Ranch. We will finish the season with our 2nd year of the 6 Week Bowhunters Bootcamp going from late July to August. Details to come on that.
All levels of hunters are welcome including bowhunters, rifle hunters and tactical sports. Bring your friends and show them what our community is all about! We were able to train over 60 hunters last year, and we cannot wait to see this community grow.
